Rosslyn Chapel and Glenkinchie Distillery

Tour Description

Whether you’re a history buff or a fan of Dan Brown’s best-selling novel, Rosslyn Chapel is sure to captivate your imagination. Known as the “Library in Stone,” this architectural marvel is adorned with thousands of intricate carvings, each telling its own story of myths and legends , including its connections to the Knights Templar. Next, we venture into the picturesque Scottish Borders town of Melrose, home to the ancient Melrose Abbey. Founded in 660 AD, this historic site is believed to hold the heart of Robert the Bruce, Scotland’s famed king. As we make our way back to Edinburgh, we’ll take in the stunning scenery of the Borders before arriving at our final stop: Glenkinchie Distillery, one of the last remaining distilleries in the Lowlands and the Lowland home of Johnnie Walker. Enjoy a relaxed tour to learn about the traditional art of whisky-making, followed by a tasting of some of Glenkinchie’s finest single malts.
