Departing from Glasgow, we head south through the lush farmlands of Ayrshire, arriving at the beautiful Culzean Country Park and the majestic Culzean Castle. Here, you can explore the impressive walled garden, take in stunning coastal views, and appreciate the grandeur of this historic country house. You will have time for lunch at Culzean before continuing to the village of Dunure, known for its Outlander filming locations. This charming harbor town features a ruined castle and a history filled with dark secrets. Our journey then takes us to the village of Alloway, the birthplace of Scotland’s most famous poet, Robert Burns. You will have the opportunity to visit the center dedicated to his life and work, learning how this son of a poor farmer became the author of the world-famous “Auld Lang Syne.” Additionally, you can enjoy scenic riverside walks and explore the haunted ruins of an old church.
