The Royal Kingdom of Fife

Tour Description
You are invited to walk in the footsteps of Scotland’s ancient kings and queens as we spend a day exploring the historic kingdom of Fife. Fife truly has it all! Start your journey by taking a moment on the shore of the River Forth to admire the spectacular Forth Bridges and their impressive history. Next, we will visit Aberdour and its whimsical castle, followed by a tour through charming coastal fishing villages. We can stop for a delicious meal at the iconic Anstruther Fish Bar before meandering past the rolling berry farms of Fife. Our adventure will lead us to the quaint streets of St Andrews, where you can visit the imposing cathedral and, of course, the Old Course, the home of golf. Afterward, we will head to the UNESCO World Heritage village of Falkland, where you will be spoiled for choice. You can wander around the impressive ancient palace, reenact scenes from “Outlander” filmed in the town square, or find the bench dedicated to Johnny Cash, whose family hailed from this place.
Lastly, you may want to explore the stunning Dunfermline Abbey and Palace, the burial site of King Robert the Bruce himself!
